Total expenditure of 'P' in 2020 = 700k + 1,000k + 500k = Rs. 2,200k Expenditure on food in 2021 = (6/5) X 700k = Rs. 840k Expenditure on travelling in 2021 = (5/4) X 1,000k = Rs. 1,250k Expenditure on others in 2021 = 0.9 X 500k = Rs. 450k Total expenditure of 'P' in 2021 = 840k + 1,250k + 450k = Rs. 2,540k Required percent = [(2,540k - 2,200k) ÷ 2,200k] X 100 = (340/22) ~ 15%
