    ATQ; Let the maximum marks of the exam be ‘100x’ Marks scored by Rina = 100x × 0.54 = ‘54x’ Marks scored by Tina = 100x × 0.74 = ‘74x’ According to question: 54x + 80 = 74x – 60 Or, 74x – 54x = 80 + 60 Or, 20x = 140 Or, x = 7 Therefore, maximum marks of the exam = 100x = 100 × 7 = 700
