A Rs. 31875 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B Rs. 31075 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Rs. 31805 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Rs. 31995 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

Solution

Let the income of the man be Rs. x Therefore, sum donated to NGO ‘A’ = Rs. 0.10x Sum left with NGO ‘A’ = 0.25 × 0.10x = Rs. 0.025x Sum donated to NGO ‘B’ = Rs. 0.20x Sum left with NGO ‘B’ = 0.2 × 0.20x = Rs. 0.06x Sum donated to NGO ‘C’ = Rs. 0.15x Sum left with NGO ‘C’ = 0.5 × 0.15x = Rs. 0.075x According to the question, 0.025x + 0.06x + 0.075x = 5100 Or, 0.16x = 5100 Or, x = 5100/0.16 = 31875 Therefore, income of man = Rs. 31875
