Time in months (total period = 12): A: 60,000 for 12 months B: 90,000 for (12 − 4) = 8 months C: 1,20,000 for (12 − 6) = 6 months Investment × time: A: 60,000 × 12 = 7,20,000 B: 90,000 × 8 = 7,20,000 C: 1,20,000 × 6 = 7,20,000 Thus A : B : C = 1 : 1 : 1 Profit shares equal ⇒ each gets 1/3 of 1,86,000 = 62,000 So C’s share = Rs 62,000.
