    Let the amount invested by Amit and Rohit be Rs. ‘4x’ and Rs. ‘3x’, respectively. Ratio of profit shares: = {(4x × 8) + (4x × 3/4 × 16)} : {(3x × 8) + (3x × 3/2 × 16)} = (32x + 48x) : (24x + 72x) = 80x : 96x = 5 : 6 Let total profit = 11y ATQ: 6y - 5y = 20000  Or, y = 20000 Total profit = 11 × 20000 = Rs. 2,20,000
