Let the sum invested by ‘Bheem’ be Rs. x
Therefore, sum invested by ‘Ajay’ = Rs. 1.25x
Let the time for which ‘Ajay’ invested his sum be ‘y’ months
Therefore, time for which ‘Bheem’ invested his sum = 0.75y months
Ratio of the profits received by them = (1.25x × y):(x × 0.75y) = 5:3
