Question
A and B started a business by investing Rs.9000 and
Rs.12000 respectively. After 6 months A withdrew 50% of his investment. If at the end of the year, profit share of B is Rs.9600, then find the profit share of A.Solution
Profit sharing ratio A and B = 9000 x 6 + 4500 x 6 : 12000 x 12 = 9:16 So, profit share of A = 9600 x (9/16) = Rs.5400
