      and investment of A is Rs.200 less than investment of C. Partner B invests for 1/5th and A and C invest for 1/12th and 1/15th respectively of total time of investment. If profit of B is Rs.1200 more than that of C, then find the profit of A.

      Solution

      Let the total time of investment be 60a months. Ratio of profit of A, B and C = (7 x 60a x 1/12) : (5 x 60a x 1/5) : (9 x 60a x 1/15) = 35:60:36 According to the question, => 24 units ------- Rs.1200 => 35 units ------- Rs.1750
