    A and B invested Rs.5000 and Rs.8000 in a business

    respectively and after 3 months B withdrawn 50% of his initial investment and again after 3 months he reinvested 50% of amount of what he withdrawn. After a year they got total profit of Rs.35090, find the profit share of A (in Rs).

    Solution

    Ratio of profit share between A and B, => 5000 x 12 : [(8000 x 3) + (4000 x 3) + (6000 x 6) => 60000 : (24000 + 12000 + 3600) => 60000 : 72000 => 5:6 Profit share of A = (35090/11) x 5 = Rs.15950
