    months while ‘B’ invested Rs. 600 less amount than ‘A’ for (x + 2) months. If the ratio of the profits received by ‘A’ and ‘B’ is 24:25, respectively then find the value of ‘x’

    Solution

    According to the question, respective ratio of the profits received by ‘A’ and ‘B’ is
    3600x:{3000 × (x + 2)} = 24/25
    => 5x = 4x + 8
    => x = 8
