28, and 42 leaves 4 as the remainder in each case. Find the value of ('5P' - 10).
A 430 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 211 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 375 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 541 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      ATQ,

As we know the least number which is divisible by 'a', 'b', and 'c' is the LCM of 'a', 'b', and 'c'.

So, the number which is completely divisible by 21, 28, and 42 = LCM of

      21, 28, and 42 = 84

      So, 'P' = 84 + 4 = 88

      Now,

      (5P - 10) = (88 Γ— 5) - 10 = 440 - 10 = 430
