    Solution

    Given, (32 + X + 2)/(28 + X + 1) = 8/7

    (34 + X)/(29 + X) = 8/7

    238 + 7X = 232 + 8X

    X = 6

    Required ratio = (32+8-6)/(28+7 - 6) = 34 : 29.
