    Quantity of milk in 340 ml of mixture = 340 × 18/(18 + x) Quantity of water in 340 ml of mixture = 340 × x/(x + 18) According to question; {6120/(18 + x) + 60}/{340x/(x + 18) + 50} = 2/1 Or, 6120/(18 + x) + 60 = 680x/(x + 18) + 100 Or, (6120 – 680x)/(x + 18) = 40 Or, 6120 – 680x = 40x + 720 Or, 720x = 5400 Or, x = 7.5
