Radius of cylinder = 14 cm Let the height of the cylinder = h cm Radius of cone = Radius of cylinder = 14 cm Height of a cone = height of cylinder = h cm Volume of cylinder = π r²h ( Volume of wood ) Volume of cone = 1/3 π r²h Quantity of waste wood = ( Volume of cylinder ) - ( Volume of cone ) = π r²h - 1/3 π r²h ( By dividing equation from π r²h ) = 1 - 1/3 = 2/3 Percentage of waste wood = 2/3 x 100 = 66.66%
