Let the radius of the circle = ‘r’ cm Circumference of the circle = 2πr 55 = 2 × (22/7) × r r = 8.75 Radius of the circle = 8.75 cm Length of the rectangle = 8.75 × 8 = 70 cm Breadth of the rectangle = (70/14) × 5 = 25 cm Area of the rectangle = 25 × 70 = 1750 cm2
