Let the length and breadth of the field is 2x and 3x respectively. Area of the field = 11664/6 = 1944 m2 So, (2x × 3x) = 1944 ⇒ x2 = 324 ⇒ x = 18 Therefore, the length of the field = 2x = 36 m And the breadth of the field = 3x = 54 m Required cost = 2 × (36 + 54) × 18 = Rs. 3240
