B Rs.3,24,400 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Rs.5,18,400 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Rs.4,38,200 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      ATQ,

Let the incomes of Veer and Aryan be Rs. 12x and Rs. 9x respectively.

      Savings of Veer = 12x × (25/100) = Rs. 3x

      Expenditure of Veer = 12x - 3x = Rs. 9x

      Expenditure of Aryan = 9x × 0.6 = Rs. 5.4x

      Savings of Aryan = 9x - 5.4x = Rs. 3.6x

      ATQ,

      (3.6x - 3x) = 18,000

      ⇒ 0.6x = 18,000

      ⇒ x = 30,000

      Income of Aryan = 9x = Rs. 2,70,000
