    According to the question: Let the monthly income of Gaurav = Rs. 11w Monthly income of Himesh = Rs. 16w According to the question, (11w – 2000):(16w – 4000) = 7:10 10(11w – 2000) = 7(16w – 4000) 110w – 20000 = 112w – 28000 28000 – 20000 = 112w – 110w 8000 = 2w w = 4000 Difference between their incomes = 16w – 11w = 5w = 5 × 4000 = Rs.20,000
