The monthly incomes of A and B are in the ratio 4 : 3. Each of them saves Rs. 600/. If is the ratio of their expenditure is 3 : 2, then what is the monthly income of A?

Let monthly income of A and B be 4x and 3x and their expenditure be 3y and 2y respectively. According to question, 4x - 3y = 600 I 3x - 2y = 600 II on sloving I & II, x = 600, y = 600 so A's monthly income = 4×600= Rs. 2,400/-
