Question
In the figure P is a point which is 12 cm away from the
centre of the circle O. A line drawn from P point cuts circle at point A and B respectively. If PB = 9 cm, AB = 2 cm Then find out the radius of the circle?Solution
Let the radius of a circle = r cm. PO = 12 cm then, PC = 12 cm - r PC = 12 - r PD = 12 + r ∵ PB = 9 cm AB = 2 cm ∴ then PA = 9 - 2 = 7 cm PA × PB = PC × PD 7 × 9 = (12-r) (12+r) 63 = 144 - r² r² = 144 - 63 = 81 r = √81 r = 9 cm
12% of 10% of 15% of 5000 + (12 x 15) = ?
10% of 80% of 50% of ? = 4
666(2/3)% of 30 - 116(2/3)% of 90 =?
18 + 28 ÷ 4 - 14 = ? - 35
...(630 ÷ 18 + 24 of 25) ÷ 5 = ?
? (1/2) = 236 – 25 × 18/2 + 396 ÷ 22
140% of 9/8 of ? = 108% of 2800
(3/7) of 700 + 33(1/3)% of 339 - 69 =?
Simplify the following expression:
84 - [21 - {14 - (25 - 16 + 8) }] ÷ 3 X 6
116*2/3% of 18600 + 666*2/3% of 1290 = 457*1/7% of 1750 + 555*5/9% of 3150 + ?
