The sum of the weight of 4 persons = 46 × 4 = 184 kg Let the weight of the lightest person = ‘x’ kg The weight of the heaviest person = (x + 28) kg The sum of the weight of the remaining two persons = 47 × 2 = 94 kg According to the question, x + x + 28 + 94 = 184 2x = 62 x = 31 The weight of the heaviest person = 31 + 28 = 59 kg
