Total expenditure in first 4 months = 12000 × 4 = Rs.48000 Total expenditure in last 8 month = 10000 × 8 = Rs.80000 Total income of the man in a year = 48000 + 80000 + 13000 = Rs.141000 His average income in a month = 141000/12 = Rs. 11750
