month of March is Rs. 200. If his average income on 1st 13 days of the month is Rs. 80 and on last 15 days of the month is Rs. 120, then find his average income on remaining three days of the month.Solution
His total income in the month = 31 × 200 = Rs. 6200
His income of 1st 13 days = 13 × 80 = Rs. 1040
His income in last 15 days = 15 × 120 = Rs. 1800
Therefore, his income in the remaining two days = 6200 – (1040 + 1800) = Rs. 3360
Required average = (3360/3) = Rs. 1120
