    India’s average run rate for the first 33 overs was 6.5 runs per over while in the remaining 17 overs, they had their best finisher at the crease, with whose help the average run rate for last 17 overs climbed up to 7.5 runs per over.     Runs scored by India in first 33 overs = 33 ×  6.5 = 214.5 Runs scored by India in last 17 overs = 17 ×  7.5 = 127.5 Therefore total runs scored by India = 214.5 + 127.5 = 342 Total runs scored by Pakistan = 342 – 7 = 335 Therefore Pakistan’s run rate = 355/50 = 6.7
