      Let the consecutive odd number be x, x+2, x+4, x+6, x+8 x + x+2 + x+4 + x+6 + x+8 = 140 5x = 140 - 20 5x = 120 x = 24 Average of 5 consecutive odd number = 140/5 = 28 The lowest even number = (2 × 28) + 4 = 60 The even numbers are 60, 62 and 64. The ratio between the lowest odd number and the highest even number = 24 : 64 = 3:8
