rate of ₹72 per dozen. He found that 35 bananas were rotten and could not be sold. He sold the remaining bananas at the rate of ₹8 per piece. What is his percentage gain in the whole transaction? (Correct to two places of decimal)Solution

Solution-
Cp of 12 bananas=72 Rs
Now Cp of 1 banana=6
CP of 186 bananas =6×186=1116
Rotten bananas =35
Remaining bananas =186-35=151
SP of 151 Bananas =151×8=1208
Profit =1208-1116=92
Percentage profit = (92/1116) ×100
=2300/279=8.24%
