    3 years ago, Let the ratio of ages of A and B = 2x:3x According to the question, => (2x + 7)/(3x + 7) = 5/7 => 14x + 49 = 15x + 35 => x = 14 Present age of A = 2x + 3 = 31 years   Present age of B = 3x + 3 = 45 years
