Let the age of A when he was married be x years. Present age of A = 5x/3 Present age of his brother = (1/3) × (5x/3) = 5x/9 According to Question, => x + 24 = 5/3x => 2/3x = 24 => x = 36 years Present age of his brother = (5/9) × 36 = 20 years
