Which companies cannot make political contributions and under section 182 of the Companies Act?
Solution
Any company can make contribution to any political party, provided a resolution for making such contributions is passed at a meeting of Board of Directors. Companies that cannot make political contributions are the Government Companies and any company which has been in existence for less than 3 financial years.
