    Theft means taking of another person’s personal property with the intent of depriving that person of the use of their property. Section 378 of Indian Penal Code delas with the provisions of theft. It states: Whoever, intending to take dishonestly any movable property out of the possession of any person without that person's consent, moves that property in order to such taking, is said to commit theft.
