Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar also known as Babasaheb Ambedkar was the chairman of the Drafting Committee of the Constituent Assembly which was entrusted with the responsibility of preparing the Constitution. Since, he was a part of the drafting committee, which took 2 years, 11 months, and 19 days to draft the Indian Constitution and thereby, presented the final draft of the Indian Constitution to the Constituent Assembly he is known as the father of the Indian Constitution.
