Explanation: Section 72 of the BSA permits the court to compare a disputed signature, writing or seal with others admitted or proved to the satisfaction of the court, and to decide on the identity accordingly (the successor to Section 73 of the old Evidence Act). The court may also direct any person present in court to write or sign for comparison. Section 63 governs electronic-record certificates, Section 74 public documents, and Section 104 the burden of proof.
