Alpha Tocol Engineering Services Private Ltd, an Indian private company, recently delivered the first rear fuselage for the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Mk1A to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The handover ceremony was attended by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who highlighted this achievement as a significant step in India's journey toward self-reliance in defense manufacturing. This delivery demonstrates the government's commitment to strengthening public-private partnerships in the defense sector. As part of the 83 LCA Mk1A contract, HAL has collaborated with several private companies including L&T, Alpha Tocol Engineering Services, Tata Advanced Systems Ltd (TASL), VEM Technologies, and Lakshmi Machine Works (LMW) for major components. The new supply from Alpha Tocol will help HAL meet its delivery commitments to the Indian Air Force starting from 2025-26.
