Delhi government has given a resolution to completely clean the ‘Yamuna river’ by the year?
The government of Delhi has taken a pledge to clean the sacred Yamuna river by the year 2025.
There are five major outfalls carrying wastewater into the Yamuna, including Najafgarh drain, Shahdara drain, Barapullah drain, Delhi Gate drain and Mori Gate drain. These drains receive polluted water from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
