Right to Freedom (Article 19-22) consists of: Article 19: It provides for the protection of certain rights regarding freedom of speech etc (1) All citizens shall have the right: to freedom of speech and expression; to assemble peaceably and without arms; to form associations or unions; to move freely throughout the territory of India; to reside and settle in any part of the territory of India; and to practise any profession, or to carry on any occupation, trade or business Article 20: Protection in respect of conviction for offences. The Supreme Court held that the trade unions have no guaranteed right to effective bargaining or right to strike or right to declare a lock-out.
