    Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, President of the Conference of Parties (COP28), together with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has officially introduced the Oil and Gas Decarbonization Charter (OGDC), a specialized initiative for the oil and gas industry.  The primary objective of the OGDC is to make a significant impact on addressing climate challenges within the sector. Presently, 50 companies, jointly accountable for more than 40 percent of global oil production, have pledged their commitment to the OGDC.
