• NAVYA stands for “Nurturing Aspirations through Vocational Training for Young Adolescent Girls.” • It is a new skilling initiative launched by the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) in collaboration with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). • The scheme was launched on June 24, 2025, in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh.
