The special provisions given to certain states are primarily contained in Part XXI of the Indian Constitution. Part XXI is titled "Temporary, Transitional and Special Provisions" and includes Articles 369 to 392. Specifically, Article 370 (related to Jammu and Kashmir, which has been effectively abrogated in 2019) and Articles 371 to 371J provide special provisions for various states, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, and Karnataka, to address their unique needs and circumstances.
