Haiderpur Wetland is a manmade wetland formed in 1984, spread around 6908 hectares in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. It has been recognised as 47th Ramsar site in India and 2,463rd site internationally. It was formed by the construction of Madhya Ganga Barrage on the River Ganga.
