    ATQ, Let the average weight of the four teachers be 'x' kg. So, total weight of the four teachers = 4 × x = '4x' kg. ATQ: 35 × 8 + '4x' = 40 × (8 + 4) Or, 280 + 4x = 40 × 12 Or, 280 + 4x = 480 Or, 4x = 480 - 280 = 200 Or, x = 200 ÷ 4 = 50 Therefore, the average weight of the four teachers is 50 kg.
