    Solution

    Let initially the number of males and females in an office be 11x and 8x respectively. According to the question, => (11x + 3) : (8x тАУ 4) = 3:2 => 22x + 6 = 24x тАУ 12 => x = 9 Therefore, number of females in an office = 8 x 9 = 72
