    12 months’ salary = 120 + turban   9 months’ salary = (Rs 120 + turban) x 9/12 Rs 120 x 3/4 + 3/4 of turban Therefore, Rs 90 + 3/4 of turban = Rs 85 + turban Therefore, 1/4 turban = 90 – 85 = Rs 85  Therefore turban = 5 x 4 = Rs 20
