      Question

If the difference of two numbers is greater than the sum

      of the numbers, then
A Both the numbers are negative Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B Exactly one of the numbers is negative Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C At least one of the numbers is negative Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D None of the above Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      Let a and b are two no.’s then a - b > a+b 0>b so one no. is definitely negative but we can't definitely say that other no. is negative or not. ex :- a=1, b= -2 then 1-(-2) > 1+(-2) = 3>-1 which is true another ex :- a=-1, b=-2 then -1-(-2) > -1+(-2) = 1>-1 which is also true
