Ayushman Bharat is a flagship scheme of Government of India to achieve the vision of Universal Health Coverage (UHC). The main aim is to meet Sustainable Development Goals and its underlining commitment, which is to "leave no one behind. Following are the main points of the scheme: It will provide a cover of 5 lakh per family per year for medical treatment in every empanelled hospitals, both public and private.
