Pakistan will host the SCO Summit in 2027, as announced by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The announcement followed the SCO summit held in Tianjin, China (2025). Pakistan previously hosted the 2024 SCO Council of Heads of Government Summit. Established in 2001, the SCO now has 26 countries participating, including 10 full members and numerous observers and dialogue partners across Asia, Europe, and Africa.
