Under the MoU (PM VIKAS-linked) to be signed in Kerala, how many total candidates from minority communities will be trained?

The project chaired by the Union MoS for Minority Affairs provides skill training and women entrepreneurship development with a total intake of 690 candidates. The distribution specified is 270 candidates in non-traditional fisheries-based skills (e.g., Fish Hatchery Production and Cage Culture Fish Farming) and 420 women for leadership and entrepreneurship development programmes. All participants are to receive stipends during training, with support for self-employment, and ICAR-CMFRI will deliver the training and mentorship.
