One thousand tribal artists from 28 States and Union Territories will take part in the festival. The festival is scheduled between the 16th and the 27th of February and it will celebrate the tribal spirit including its culture, crafts, cuisine, commerce and traditional art. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the Jal Jan Abhiyan in Abu Road in Sirohi district of Rajasthan. Under the nationwide campaign, people associated with the Brahmakumaris Sansthan and the Ministry of Jal Shakti will run a public awareness campaign for eight months to preserve more than five thousand water bodies across the country and to build new water bodies. A target has been set to reach ten crore people by organizing ten thousand programmes through the campaign. About Jal Jan Abhiyan Jal-Jan Abhiyan, jointly run by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India and the Brahma Kumaris organization, is a positive initiative towards water conservation to save humans and humanity. The goal of water conservation can be achieved only by creating collective consciousness among the people towards conservation of water and nature.
