The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare , the Government of India, and the United Nations Development Programme have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under which UNDP will provide technical assistance to the Center’s ambitious Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) and Kisan Credit Card – Modified Interest Subvention Scheme. Kisan Credit Card – Modified Interest Subvention Scheme and Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana were created with the goal of addressing the shortcomings of prior schemes and creating a structure that provides better implementation alternatives for all stakeholders while attaining the desired outcomes.
