Indian Architect Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi was bestowed with the prestigious Royal Gold Medal 2022. Royal Gold Medal, one of the world’s highest honors for architecture, by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), London, United Kingdom (UK). The award is given to a person or group of people who have had a significant influence either directly or indirectly on the advancement of architecture. Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi won the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2018 ,Padma Shri in 1976 for science and engineering and Padma Bhushan in 2020 for his contribution to the field of architecture.
