The Survey Settlement and Land Records (SSLR) unit of Karnataka’s revenue department is making original land records more accessible through an app called Dishaank. The Dishaank app was created as part of the Karnataka State Remote Sensing Applications Center’s Geographical Information System (GIS) programme (KSRSAC). The KSRSAC makes satellite data available to agencies such as the SSLR unit for novel applications.
